The Show also welcomes the Silver Star Mobile Diabetes Unit, which travels the country carrying out important diabetes testing in the community. It also promotes culturally sensitive healthcare, with particular regard to the high prevalence of diabetes amongst the South Asian community in the major towns and cities of Britain and India. The Units travel to local community centres, schools, work places and other organisations.

The units are equipped with a bed, sink and entrance for disabled people. In testing, the charity measures the patient's weight and height for Body Mass Index and glucose level to find out the risk level for diabetes.
